Goverments set up a special department to do propaganda, creat illusions, manipulate people's emotions even mindset. It's bascially selling war to the people.
Media is the main tool that goverments would use to achive their goals. Since media want to get report resources from the goverments and sell more like magzines or newpapers to the people and increase viewing rate, they have to listen to the goverment, they can not be critical or objetive anymore, they tell people the things that what goverments want them to tell.
War is purely for profits, oil and for ownership of people's resource, and for the control of global resource. not for any noble goals.
We are told that the goverment's foreign policy is to promote demoracy, develope human rights, but if you read the actual goverments' planning files that they write for themselves, their policy is not based on that, it's based on controling oil, creating profiting, matining a powerful image.
When you start to use symbols that are separted from their meanings, and creat a new fake meanings, the facts don't matter anymore.
