Plot Summary:Ramses II was the greatest pharaoh of ancient Egypt; he reigned for more than six decades and built a myriad of monuments throughout the country, each more imposing than the last. But the real jewel of this builder pharaoh was his mythical capital: Pi-Ramses. Rediscovered at the end of the 20th century in the Nile Delta, after three millennia of oblivion, this city has been excavated every year by archaeologists and reveals new secrets. In 2022, for the first time, a team of archaeologists led by Professor Henning Franzmeier undertook excavations in the very palace of Ramses II.
