Plot Summary:Easterner Tom Butler, a disappointment to his father, travels West and finds work on a ranch owned by Jim Lane, where he soon falls in love with Leona, the boss's daughter. While recuperating from a broken ankle, Tom is ordered to guard some valuable stock certificates, but is overwhelmed by a gang of outlaws. Tom is suspected of the crime, but he evades arrest and captures the gang singlehandedly, winning Jim's approval to marry Leona.
