肖恩·康纳利一个越老越帅的男人
基于1904年摩洛哥发生的Ion Perdicaris绑架事件，John Milius进行了几乎完全虚构的改编，片中美军攻占丹吉尔宫殿并与德军激战完全来自他的想象，以期拍出大卫·里恩式的史诗，一场新旧世界跨越大洋的较量。时任美国总统福特曾观看本片，认出老罗斯福登场的拍摄地黄石公园，自己当年在那里当过骑警。Milius却不得不当面告诉他，其实全片都在西班牙取景拍摄，继承的是《阿拉伯的劳伦斯》与莱昂内西部片遗留下来的场景。
马马虎虎可以看，不过是70年代的片不必苛刻，对当时老美充满讽刺
这部电影绝非普通冒险片那么简单，在历史人物的刻画上堪称一绝，你既看不到现在冒险片流行的奇幻元素，也看不到脸谱化的柏柏尔人。基斯饰演的老罗斯福形神具备，活脱西奥多再世，绝了。
也是小時候看過的電影，感覺比Khartoum好看，同樣票房也比較亮眼。
真够乏味的。
