Plot Summary:Labor-saving devices are supposed to make modern living easier for those who use them, but they don't do that for Thaddeus E. Thud (III); his encounters with armless easy-chairs and three-legged stools quickly become disasters and things he could do without, although he thinks the push-button breakfast server was made for him. It wasn't.
