Plot Summary:In the morning mist, farmer-publican Konrad Bredow discovers in a moor the corpse of Johannes Missfeld. The engineer and his firm came to check up on the local bio gas plant, which malfunctions and poisons the fields with normally clean residue. Fellow engineers Tim Melchior and Nicole Bohn act shocked but report Missfeld recently rowed with Rudolf Mahr, who was recently paroled after a violence prison term, but denies. The team digs into rivalries within the local plant board members, research firm and toxic dumping scheme.
