其实100年可以发生很多事情吧，对于一个国家，一个民族来说都是如此，电影虽然只是百年，人类有经历了两次世界大战，局部战争，内部厮杀就更不用提了。就这样，还可以发生翻天覆地的变化，所以好好活着，期待变化。
断断续续看了三四次才看完，默片英文字幕还能连续看下来，有声片得不断暂停才能理解歌词大意。对戏子生活的描画比《浮草物语》更丰富更深刻。在马戏团拉小提琴就像如今国产电影环境下拍艺术电影，显得不合时宜，不识时务，哎。
成濑第一部有声片显然作为过渡还留有默片的气息，但临近结尾部分的叠化效果变相的证明了成濑在默片拍摄时打下的深厚基础，摒弃单独角色的塑造将整个戏团作为整体，战前的成濑对旅行艺人与世界的关注是大家有目共睹的。
