这是一部讲述智利诗人聂鲁达被迫政治逃亡的故事。在逃亡中，聂鲁达写下了他最重要的一部作品【慢歌】。The poet Pablo Neruda receives the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1971 and in his acceptance speech, he recalls episodes of his life almost forgotten. In 1948 because of a Senator of the Republic, he is transformed into a fugitive from the political police. In disagreement with the President at the time, who tries to detain him, Neruda must risk his life and ride through the Andes Mountains to escape to Argentina. His fugitive adventure leads him to the south of Chile, where he had lived his childhood and adolescence.
