剧情描述富家子劳伦斯一向贪图享受，欠下一屁股赌债，因为被凶恶的流氓追债上门，危急下跟室友调换房间，但却因此阴差阳错被捉到泰国去参加维护和平部队。在过着委屈的军人生活时，他仍然不忘追逐东方美女。Lawrence is a rich kid with a bad accent and a large debt. After his father refuses to help him out, Lawrence escapes his angry debtors by jumping on a Peace Corp flight to Southeast Asia, where is assigned to build a bridge for the local villagers with American-As-Apple-Pie WSU Grad Tom Tuttle and the beautiful and down-to earth Beth Wexler. What they don't realize is that the bridge is coveted by the U.S. Army, a local Communist force, and a powerful drug lord.
