清朝，连考十多次也没能中上状元后，朱秀才（黄百鸣）气死了老爹、气走了老婆，自己也含冤于某一寺庙悬梁自杀，结果无法投胎，灵魂被附在了他自杀时所用的麻绳上。

Plot Summary:A group of girls go on a camping trip and take shelter from the rain in an abandoned temple. One of them, Bonnie, takes a rope she found in the temple back with her not knowing that in the rope lies the soul of a fallen scholar from the Ching Dynasty. The ghost, Bindeye Pik, tries to help them with some of their daily trials and tribulations but then unwittingly gets them into trouble.
