Plot Summary:Nineteen sculptures by Aristide Maillol have recently replaced the Nineteenth Century ones which preceded them. Dominique Delouche decides to pay them a call. With his admiring camera, accompanied by Richard Strauss's music and the voice of Arletty reading a lyrical poem about Dina Verny, Maillol's model, the aesthete director celebrates their pure, antique beauty.
