Plot Summary:"Wild Is the Wind" - a composition written by Dmitry Temkin and Ned Washington. The original composition was recorded by Johnny Mathis for the film "Wild Wind", in 1957. The song was a great success and was one of the five compositions nominated for an Oscar, although the song did not win the statuette, Johnny Mathis performed it at the award ceremony of the Academy Awards in March 1958. Later, Nina Simon recorded her version of the song, for the self-titled album Wild Wind (1966). David Bowie recorded a new version of this song in 1976, for his album "Station to Station". Bowie was a fan of Simon's vocal style, and after meeting with her in Los Angeles was inspired to record this song for his record.
