Plot Summary:"The Eloquent Peasant" is based on an ancient Egyptian story by the same name. It is about a peasant named Khun-anup, who is tricked by the wicked and unscrupulous Nemtynakht, an overseer of lord Rensi's lands, and cheated out of his property. The peasant seeks justice from the lord, but without witnesses to the deed, he is forced to rely on his own eloquence to try to convince the lord.
