看完電影對電影的評價很大程度上取決於看的心態，之前的自己處於的那種理性、功利的狀態，連看電影都不能找到自己的感覺。而最近感覺就像打開了天窗，讓我看到了光。雖然這個電影想表達的可能只是些老生常談的道理，但我的感觸頗深。
有幾個情節讓我很感動：上性健康教育的課，發安全套，主角的一番演講：
I think that means you do it with someone you love. And preferably when you're married. When you're ready to take that love and turn it into a baby. Because that's what love is. It's that first moment when you hold your baby girl and you didn't know that anything could be so small or so delicate. And you feel that tiny heart beat and you know that you couldn't love anything more in the whole world. And you hope that you can do right by that little girl and always be there to catch her when she falls, and that nothing ever hurts her. Not a broken arm or a bad dream or a broken heart.
然後同學們紛紛把自己領的安全套交回，表示不需要。
他鼓勵兒子說：when you're young, everything feels like the end of the world. It's not. It's just the beginning.
結尾對妻子說：I thought I wanted a second chance at life, but now I know I just want a second chance with you. I love you. You are the best decision I ever made.
(這個電影看了幾乎10個小時，看的從學校借的碟，看裡面的中文字幕+一個網上的英文字幕，既學廣東話又學英語，然後發現了翻譯確實很重要，尤其對於這種輕鬆幽默的片子，很多笑料如果不是mother tongue很可能聽不出來。翻譯不好總會讓人莫名其妙。
幾個網上的翻譯失誤：
1. Ned: You good on the Captain?
O'Donell: I'm good on the Captain.
網上翻譯：你還是家裡的頭麼？
實際Captain是他們正在吃的麥片的牌子。
2. 這個意思幾乎反了
Janitor: High school star. Never quite lived up to your potential
網上翻譯：從來無愧你的潛質
實際是懷才不遇的意思
3.這個翻譯的完全沒有搞笑的意思了
Manager: So anyway the way corporate wants up to spin it is that maybe, in certain situations, a four-hour erection isn't such a terrible thing. Okay. Next up.
往上翻譯：所以，無論如何公司希望看到的或許就是我們在特定的情形中連續四個小時的作業仍然輕鬆自如。那麼，接下來。
實際上從O'Donell到公司，畫面就在交代這個公司是個製藥公司，拍到的會議室裡的公司的廣告則是公司出品的藥的廣告，似乎都是些“大補丸”。而這句話的意思其實是“公司想要生產一種能讓人連續4小時勃起的藥”……)
