完美的世界

The plot line of A Perfect World was quite interesting for me and I was immediately hooked.

One thing I feel like the movie did well was the ending (Butch's death) because his character has been developed through out the whole movie, making the audience attached to his character. His death results in an explosion of emotion. The movie sheds light on the criminal's story which is often neglected and ignored when it comes to the media.

I also liked the Laura's character as she wasn't the female character that had to be saved by the man or the "tempest" that dragged men down. She was smart and very much underappreciated by the men she worked with in this more male-dominant field of work. The treatment she received by one of the men also cast light on the oppression and workplace harassment that still is present in the workplace for women. I cried of course and there is this natural attachment I feel to movies that make me cry.
