We tend to think of life as a linear process, with a beginning and an end. Things go from life to death. But I hope the box has shown this process in a new light. Life is an ever repeating cycle, one that is not just happening here, but everywhere on the planet. The plants and animals of our Earth’s ecosystems rely on this continuing cycle. Even the atoms that make us up are recycled. They come from the food we eat, the air we breathe. They are in our flesh, blood and bones. They have been used millions of times before, and they will be used millions of times again.
