没有谁希望自己的幸福就此破裂，Agatha Christie希望能挽回这场婚姻，而阿奇则让她彻底断绝了念想："I don‘t love you and you will not love me,our marriage is finished,is over"，失落和悲伤瞬间占据了她，心力交瘁的她趁着夜色离开了家。
这部电影也没有什么情节上的大波折，整个过程都比较平淡，略带点淡淡的文艺气息，婉转动人，片中的音乐更渲染了这种文艺气息，尤其结尾的那首"Close Enough for Love" 唱出了一种怅惘和哀伤，算是点睛之笔吧：
