I believe many people,after seeing this movie---Armored,will have their thumbs up and show their admiration and worship of the hero generously.They may use all those beautiful words,such as 'He is the outstanding representative of human nature.' or 'What he has done vividly illustrate that justice always prevails evil.' But I hold a different opinion.
As for me,I would not speak highly of his behaviors at all.Let's think back to the movie.I feel fairly strange that why the hero suddenly gave up the crime and wanted to save the old man even if he knew that they had done the crime and would be accused of not only robbery but also murder if it was exposed.Did he turn from a devil into an angel all of a sudden?I don't think so.Perhaps the truth is that he did all the things deliberately.
We could clearly see from the movie that the hero got in a dilemma because of lack of money.Therefore,it's nature that he was eager to get more money from the robbery,even all of them,if possible.The instant he saw one of his criminal soulmates shot the old man,he realized that the opportunity was coming.So he decided to stand this excellent chance to kill all his partners and then,possessed all the money left.That's what we see in the end:the hero got everything---a reward,the rest of money(maybe not much,because they had been burnt to ash),and most important---his brother.If what I say above is the truth,then the hero of this movie is no longer a hero,and he was ont worth any praise.
However,I have to admit the 'truth' is not obvioiusly shown in the movie and it's based on my imagination and reasoning.Anyway,even if he didn't do that by design,I still insist on my initial viewpoint that his behaviors didn't touch me and to the contrary,they made me disappointed and irritated.He protected that so-called justice at cost of 5 lives of his partners.He asked all to promise not to do harm to anyone,but it is just himself who lead everyone to death.If I were given the chance to speak to the hero,I would put it like this:'Hi,man,remember that you are a criminal but not a good Samaritan.You are a robber man but not Spiderman.The world does not need your rescue;what indeed need your rescue are your dear friends. '
Oh,yes,yes,I nearly forget to say that I feel quite sorry for those 5 sacrificed men.But they were bound to fail now that they were in company with that GREAT guy.Their story tells us how important it is to choose a NORMAL teammate.
