一个鲜艳的特色，即在片头就展现出来的同一个场景上快进似的切镜头。当然片头是重复了很多遍。这样的好处是后面看到类似的手法的时候不会以为电脑坏了。。。不是特别明白这种手法的效果，是表示两个镜头中间有部分被切掉了？还是类似片段式写作？最有可能是加快叙事节奏，砍掉没内容的过场，但是好粗暴啊。。。不过我觉得似乎不同场景这个手法的效果还是不同。有个地方好像在说说的好多话都没啥区别，没啥说的又都说过的感觉
看到这一部能渐渐认出来很多出现过的场景。比如Joan第一次出场是harry等她下班截下她和她说话，镜头布置和内容的情绪和manhattan里去issac找前妻投诉她写的书一模一样。他和这个以及那个前妻都有个孩子他都很爱，之后还都有他带着孩子玩的镜头。还有些常见的笑话模式，比如什么put your lips in the smithsonian。 再比如一个不那么cynical，以及宅, more lively, polite, and chic.的情敌，larry is like the tony in annie hall
影片开头就用镜头展现了harry书中的故事，然后下一个场景就揭示了本作的主要结构，即一条harry现实生活中连续的三天，以叫人去参加荣誉仪式这个点来推动。另外就是接机穿插harry书中的故事。因为harry以他自己的生活故事为灵感来源，所以实际用书的故事结构了harry的过去。比如Mel’s out of focus, the shrink conclude, you expect the world to adjust to the distortion you become. 中间导演很用心专门点明了这一点，在harry去会他前前妻妹妹lucy，or leslie in his story的时候。即how he met fey。
在后半部分woodyallen把书中人物带出来和harry说话，一遍用他们的口吻来结构harry的故事, 并且通过让这些人展示的方式带出不属于harry或者他故事主角的视角。
整个结构还是挺整齐的，但是第一遍看的时候没有特别专注，第二遍看就搞清楚每个故事的对应了。
主题的话导演这边还是很明确，用台词总结
