peter 的第一次“非社会化”的情感流露是在“不能赶路”的雨夜，那个关于爸爸的故事让我随着peter的哽咽哽咽了下。而peter真情流露的梗咽过后换来的是 ethan炫耀般的嘲笑：“我爸爸就不会这么做。我爸爸爱我。”peter勉强扯起的嘴角连微笑都只能做成撇嘴的弧度。
刚感伤完的小片段之后是ethan的无厘头爆笑：“I‘m just masturbating.”而他的理由来得正大光明又无懈可击：“this is how i go to sleep.”这段的笑点在于sonny的效仿之——这只狗狗在剧里的表现太赞了！
我被ethan彻底的“傻气”或者说“纯真”打败是下面的片段——peter终于忍受不了蹭着ethan洗澡的机会火速搬下ethan的所有行李和 sonny一个人开车走掉。可在发现ethan爸爸的骨灰落在了车上时犹豫许久甚至做完祷告依然是原路返回。而ethan的质疑竟然因为一句“我去给你买早餐”了就彻底打消，甚至欢呼雀跃起来：“I was thinking,there is no way that peter would have left me here.we've had our bumps in the road,but he's not gonna leave me. you know, my mind words in mysterious ways. and i thought, god why would he wanna travel alone, you know? ”
车祸导致peter终于火山爆发：“我手骨折，断了3根肋骨，腋下缝了7针！”之后对ethan的“狠话”环节我都快哭出来了，peter找到朋友来接自己，再一次打算丢下ethan独自走掉。而我喜欢朋友的态度：“fix it.make it right.”
ethan“端着身段”走过来的样子让我再一次哈哈大笑了……
被警察忽悠导致被关起来的peter意外得到ethan的营救。在那种情况下，ethan没有选择独自离开而是拼了老命来“劫狱”，原因如同他处理事情的方法般简单粗暴却直指人心：“i made you a promise, i told you i was gonna get you home.i'm getting you home safe, okay ?” 却在peter说要kiss他的时候含羞得不像男生……害羞但是欢喜着……
“i love you,dude.”

大峡谷的片段让我再一次泪流了——面对ethan的种种“合理借口”，peter却直中要害：“I know it's hard to say goodbye. and i didn't know your dad, but from what are you've told me he was a great father. he's a cool gay, i'm just saying, i'm just suggesting.. he deserves a grand gesture.”——朋友的情谊在于理解你所有的苦痛和软弱，但不会因此成为伤害你的武器，而是在你游移不定的时候给你“临门一脚”的勇气。
感伤完又是俩小男孩的互相掐架，ethan的理由再次让我崩溃：“I didn't wanna be lone. I was feeling vulnerable. I just didn't wanna go across country by myself. ”
