Maybe I loved him. I believe I did. I loved him as much as I understood the meaning of the word. How do you ever know? I always thought I’d know the minute it happened. But all I knew was I couldn’t get enough of him. I wanted to spend every second of my time with him. But when I was with him, that wasn’t enough either. I wanted to look at him, touch him, feel his touch. I wanted us to be together all the time.
