Totally fascinated and obsessed by him. More of a personal show. It’s just amazing and quite touching of his performance in daily life and then at the same time we always remember what he was like being a hilarious TV presenter. It always amazes me to see a person with so much talent and seems to be like a fish in the water on TV while in reality is so shy and vulnerable and of course so lonely.
No doubt we audience all have something in common with him about these shyness, sentiment, loneliness, awkwardness, vulnerability and bitterness, and thus we all love him a lot. Just like him, we, now and then, tried really hard to overcome such dysfunction in our personality, yet as is often the case, we just stuck in the mud of real life like an innocent child quite at a loss and couldn’t get out; as a result, we can’t help but think maybe I’m really a loser or definitely I am terrible.
There are just so many people around that we just couldn’t get away. We don’t hate people, we just don’t know how to react to all these words or gestures or whatever on the spot. We don’t know what people want from us or maybe we do know, but unfortunately, we have problem in giving whatever it is to others or let them know our kindness or even love. Sometimes, it’s so lonely being alone that all we could do is just looking at ourselves in a mirror and telling ourselves a story. We laugh a lot and it’s easy for us to cry as well. We like to do some self-analysis from time to time, yet we just can’t get over our character weakness.
Oh, a bit carried away...
Anyway, love this sitcom. And can’t help loving Simon without saying. And please try to be happy in real life, all of us. Yes, live in reality.
