If the monks were right and nothing happens without cause.
也许僧人说得对，万般皆有因。
Then the gift of suffering is bring us closer to god, to teach us to be strong when we are weak, to be brave when we are afraid, to be wise in a midst of confusion, and to let it go of that which we can no longer hold.
那么受苦将赐予我们更接近神灵，教导我们，软弱时要坚强，恐惧时要勇敢，迷惑时要明智，抓不住的就要放手。
Lasting victories are won in the heart, not on this land or that…
