无形的本质:小王子影评:A fragmented narration of the life of the story’s creator
The documentary itself is a bit too fragmented - too many were the narrators and too fast were the transitions (and the transition between the English and the French language is particularly difficult for a newbie of French comme moi). Nevertheless, as a big lover of Le Petit Prince, the film reveals many aspects of the author’s personal life previously unknown to me - his desolation and solitude, his love of the romance of aviation, his confused, entangled love life - “a life that was few feet from the reality” led by both his wife and his very self. The fairytale, although with a tint of sadness and solitude, is not profoundly desolate; there was still hope and love, as well as innocence. It’s a beautified version of his inner world.
