Story was set in the underground world of the Budapest
subway system. Charater was a ticket inspector. A
modern day mythology of the struggle with personal
demon, despair and destruction. Rarely before in a
film had the symbols of beauty and hope shone so
brightly in such a dark, filthy, depressive and violent
environment, all depicted with utter sincerity and
visual/mental impact.
