an exploration of the physical or visual possibities available to the fimmaker, but because of the persnal nature of tis raw footage it has now taken on a nostalgic quality. the gauge is notable for having a single sprocket hole located between frames in the centre of the strip, rather than along the edge as in more conventional 8, 16 and 35mm film. Little Dog for Roger explores a whole range of filmic 'imperfrctions': dirt and scratches, under and over exposure, geometrically correct, or horizontally or vertically inverted, positive or negativem in and out ot focus, freeze frames or steady or interrupted motion, single or double -exposure, sound or no sound, full frame or cropped.
