Focusing on a trans man bodybuilding competition, Man Made brought out a lot of problems trans men face, but it ended on a pretty positive note. It wasn't talked about much in the film, but passing, binders and top surgery are all in play here, as some of them pass, especially with binders or top surgery, and others don't yet. A number of the competitors have jobs outside of bodybuilding, as trans men sector of bodybuilding doesn't pay that well. But a few of them have kids and while I know how none of my business it is, I keep wondering how that goes with identifying as a man. A sad note was that the girlfriend of one of the competitors said because she is a lesbian, the more the competitor transition (takes T, and thus gets a higher sex drive), the less attracted to him the girlfriend gets. All in all, decent film and quite informative.
