Sorkin's screenplay was well-paced, and managed to keep voice-over scenes interesting. He was okay as a director, I guess. The acting was great, though I think Chastain is really typecast by now.
But yeah, somehow all the good speeches went to the men, despite the film having a woman as the protagonist. I guess that's just Sorkin being Sorkin. But I think the movie does pass the Bechdel test, so perhaps it's not too bad.
