It's a good movie no matter what ending is.

When Corey ask Sydneywhy she married him, her answer was because of sex. This happened when she got cancer notice.

Their focus are quite different. Sydney's focus on life and dream, while Corey is on work Apart and away from love they are.

Jane's morelike the fullfilment dream Sydney found in her screenscript "love lost and found ".

Together will be impossible, thus, Sydney choose a lie to make her life ended at beauty age.
