When I first saw this, very surprised to get a major character so ugly like Shrek in cartoon. But after movie, his braveness and kindness are so appealing thereby earning a happy ending for himself and attracting so many fans just like me.
We can't tell others by appearance but the soul. Someone around with very normal look may get to where you can't imagine. More respect and less discrimination.
