The movie discusses how our antihero Signe uses her little project to abuse a culture that has been formalized. That's part of our situation today: a "healthy" society, devitalized people, and sickened stars. When the old spirits left, they must have been streaking out of the room. For it's just their clothing that we are wearing. Our culture has come down to resemble a marketing platform. It used to be like a nursery.

I understand it's a second-tier phenomenon. No problem with those top brands. They are generally functioning well outside the movie. The problem is that in a healthy culture, you can't say stuff like "something is impossible." You can't speak to someone: you are impossible, and the reasons are such and such. Such words are anti-consumerism and, thus, anti-humanism. They will be flagged as an attitude by a second-tier norm which is another attitude. But seriously, how can "everything is possible?" Can't you sniff the hypocrisy? Besides affordable milk and toothpaste, consumerism has created an illusion of access. You can't play with stars, but you can look like one of them. The shrinking distance works like putting people in an ever-diminished space. You feel empowered and admitted.

You are promised a way upon your free will to be anyone you like or someone you are not. That's how people get sick. You have the right, the power, and even the incentive to get yourself sick. None will tell the truth, as it's unconventional.
