橘色

There are many films about transgender people and this is the one I like most till now. I care about human conditions and love exploring different cultures, values, etc. What I want to learn from this film is how the director uses a unified mise en scene and a story with reversals and many details to show the living conditions of a group of people, to show the complexity of human nature, and to create emotional connections with the audience.

What interesting is that the film uses a parrallel structure as in many cult films to tell three people’s stories and these people all meet in that donut store which creates the climax, though most of the story is about Sin Dee.

The well-designed dialogues remind me of the quarelling dialogues in the film A Seperation. Both of the films dialogues make me feel so real and many sentences touch me. The style remind me of the film The Big Lebowski. Both of them are depicting the minority. I feel weird but funny when watch them.
