The thing is what do you believe in.

Religions, or Gods. Pagans or ‘Christians’.

Whatever we believe in, or what we are not believing it. It existed for a purpose, to taught us to be kind, or pursue the true meaning of what’s been written on the holy literature.

Unfortunately it has turned into a double-edged sword over times.

A sword that are unable to cut off the thorns or bring throne to anyone.

But by what it means, history is simply just history. It’s also created by human kinds. Just like any of us. And nobody knows the whole picture of what’s real or what’s false. For the history that we know are based on scraps that were left from the previous one, the one has the right to say so.

The part that makes me sad is we are so blind. So blind that we can only see things that are what we wanted to see, even though the ‘truth’ is sometimes right in front of our eyes.

Not even 40 winks can save the truth to live.

And the persecution to intelligent, independent female has never stopped. Even it has been centuries after centuries. Yet the pattern is still quite similar to the Rome times.

Bias, it’s the ultimate curse. That often leadto a bad outcome.

So what’s behind the heavy velvet curtain? What’s all these symbols really means? Is it the Son who can turn water into divine wine. Or it’s just bunch of powerful MAN decided on their wills for what should the future generations to see and believe in?

I guess I would never know.

Back to the film itself, all the flashback scenes are like a delicate jigsaw for the audiences to puzzle them together. and the brilliant part is... it works. the tactics might be nothing new at the modern movie industry. But for the clues and the rooms that are left for my thoughts and wonders to grow wild. it’s truly, a marvelous, marvelous movie.

P.S I read some ‘negative’ reviews, most of them shares one similarity. Which is they didn’t get the religious meaning. Which is understandable. For our country is build upon atheism. That’s alright.
