绿里奇迹

影片给我最大的触动是，Coffey选择死亡以得解脱。

如果我们的听力加强一百倍，蚊子飞的声音都会震耳欲聋，谁都会痛苦难耐。而Coffey忍受的是心灵的苦难与痛楚。Paul称他是God's miracle, 但他本身却没有得到平静与幸福，反而更像一种诅咒。他有着常人的善良与纯真(把蛋糕分享给狱友Del和金格，外出时看星星闻青草味而流露的孩童般喜悦)，却忍受着常人无法体会和想象的万箭穿心。他在握着Paul的手的时候只是把部分能力分给他，但从Paul表现的震惊与痛苦，可想而知Coffey常年面对的痛苦程度。世间有你难以想象的丑恶，而Coffey一人承受了。

另外，他也是孤独的。从他身上满是旧伤疤，可以猜出他长期因为拥有这种能力而被别人视为怪物，被排挤、伤害，再加上他的体型和肤色，只会引来更多防备。看了让人心痛。

一生的痛苦加孤独。所以最后他宁愿选择死亡来解脱。他说Del死了是幸福的。

他说: Now you see how it is. That's the way it is every day. That's the way it is all over the world.

You tell God the Father it was a knidness you done. I know you are hurting and worrying. I can feel on you. But you ought to quit on it now. I want it to be over and done with. I do. I'm tired, boss. Tired of being on the road lonely as a sparrow in the rain. I'm tired of never having me a buddy to be with to tell me where we're going to, coming from, or why. Mostly, I'm tired of people being ugly to each other. I'm tired of all pain I feel and hear in the world every day. There's too much of it. It's like pieces of glass in my head all the time.
