周六下午，一个人在家，看了Guardian惊涛大冒险。
一部很感人的片子，却没有煽情的氛围衬托，一切来得都那么自然，或许是因为Kevin Costner的高超演技，或许是因为Andy Davis的精心导演。
他是一个传奇，大家都这么说，可他从来不多说自己什么。于是，他到底救了200还是300人，就成为所有人的谜。当Kevin即将离开海岸警卫队的时候，Ashton Kutcher第二次向他提出了这个问题，他回答22人。Ashton笑着说，好在不是200。Kevin补了一句，这是他没救到的人数。
凭借在可能的情况下不放弃一个人的理念，Kevin让自己成为了传奇，一个无法逾越的传奇。然而，正是这个他坚持了近20年的理念，却在一次任务中，使他失去了所有的队友。经过在基地培训菜鸟的日子，沉静下来的Kevin悟出了另外一个道理，那就是一定不要做超过自己能力的事，有些人在不得已的情况下只能放弃。
但是，当接他班外出执行任务的Ashton需要帮助、警卫队需要帮助的时候，他仍然义无反顾地取出已入箱的装备，再一次登上了救人的飞机。最后一次任务是完美的，直到指挥员报告磨损的绳索承担不了最后从沉船上来的Ashton和Kevin。Ashton当下决定和曾经的Kevin一样，冒着手筋都被拉脱的危险，用手拉着他飞行20分钟，Kevin却撕开手套的粘带，掉进了到处都是漩涡的大海。

电影结束后，音乐响起，歌声传来，原来是沙哑有力的Bryan Adams，直入人心！
