监视资本主义：智能陷阱

Our common social dilemma today lies in the booming development of the Internet.
This dilemma is prevalent all over the world, among people from all works of life. The first thing we often do to start our day is scrolling our mobile phone. Thus, we are bombarded with so many information, such as fake news, conspiracy theories and political propagandas, that we don't actually need in our lives. It is such a dillemma, and I am deeply grateful for our country's strict control towards fake news and violent content on the Internet. In the information age, we are regarded as products by tech giants under the capitalism. They just attempt to win our attention in the social platforms by all means, so that they can make profits by placing different ads in the apps. It is ridiculous that we made algorithm to get our attention being distracted more easily instead of to make our life become better. Plus, I find teenagers now are prone to stay up late and ignore their loved ones in their families owing to the mobile phone. Worse still, as millennial generation, they may become more vulnerable, fragile and depressed than other generation throughout the ages. The only solution to the problem is putting down our mobile and do something more meaningful like reading and doing workouts.
