This documentary aims to convey the political message of the Nazi party. It urges people to identify themselves as German and promotes the idea that Germany is synonymous with Nazism, with Hitler being a central figure ("Deutsland ist NAZI, NAZI ist Hitler"). The film also emphasizes the belief that leading a meaningful life entails committing to a long-lasting career, even if one's work continues after their death. This film acts as propaganda to convey these messages so the audience would believe that NAZI is their hope to make their life better.

It is intriguing to observe people's responses to this film. The guest lecturer, Dr. Gayle, who is from the US, remains calm, likely due to his multiple viewings of the film. Thanks to his explanations, we gain insights into the historical background, cultural symbols, and advertising strategies employed. As an outsider to German history during World War II, he remains somewhat detached. On the other hand, our professor, Dr. Harrison from the UK, appears visibly affected. She finds it challenging for Europeans to watch this film. And she also shared her reflection on apparent happiness portrayed by the individuals in the film, especially the children. Additionally, a student from mainland China shares that this film triggers tragic memories from his high school years.

Regarding my own perspective, I do recognize the similarities between the Nazi marching and other forms of marching. However, I believe that it merely demonstrates the effectiveness of collective action. The means employed may be similar, but the ends differ, and it is the ends that we use to judge. The means themselves are neutral. Furthermore, I appreciate the aesthetic beauty of the frames in the film, but I find the marching, particularly the sea of flags, to be monotonous and uninteresting.
