WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Tenth Annual RiverRun International Film Festival announced the award.
Filmmaker and University of Florida professor Sandra Dickson presented presented the Best Cinematography for a Documentary Feature award to Up the Yangtze ( Canada ), directed by Yung Chang. Shi qing Wang was the Cinematographer.
COMPETITION - Director Francesco Tabone announced the Best Documentary Feature jury award winner is Up the Yangtze ( Canada ) directed by Yung Chang, a disquieting feature that examines life inside the 21st century Chinese dream. At last year’s festival, MANUFACTURED LANDSCAPES ( Canada ), directed by Jennifer Baichwal received the Best Documentary Feature jury award.
