当哈利遇到莎莉

Watching this film is part of my self-assigned pilgrimage to understand this woman that is called Nora Ephron. When Harry Met Sally... is the first film discussed in the book I'll Have What She's Having and I figured I should watch the film while all the details included in the book are still fresh in my head. I thought that reading the book (which pretty much gave you all the deets on the film) would ruin the fun of watching the movie, but it did not in any way. On the contrary, it made the process so much more entertaining! I understood where various lines came from; I could see Nora Ephron everywhere; I thought of recent productions of movies or TV shows that borrowed lines from this film; I found every scene interesting because I knew about the choices and reasons behind them; I knew about what happened outside the scene to make what is happening in a scene possible, which makes watching the scene all the more interesting. In short, I love it. I love Meg Ryan (together with her outfits) and I adore Billy Crystal. Harry is kinda awkward but in a good way; Sally is exactly a HM who considers herself an LM and is adorable in a crazy way / crazy in an adorable way.

And, yes, please have dressing on the side.
