1. Special effects are not convincing at all. Filmmakers wanted to show some grand, magnificent scenes of power in the form of mindless destruction, but clearly the special effects team failed them with some lousy CGI.

8. The X-Men series started off with some slightly thought-provoking films that were not just popcorn blockbusters, but now the series is seemingly losing this treatment of humanity and letting itself down, even though Bryan Singer returned to be the director.
