An Answer from the Heaven
I should have remembered this film if I had watched it. However, the fact is that I did not watch it when I was a child while most of other guys did watch it.
The story is simple but it can remain everyone of a lot of childhood things, including the things happened many years ago. It did make me feel like a child again.
The grandpa in this film is really great. His smile conveys love and makes me feel warm. He is as normal as any grandpa in the world. He loves his little grandson very much, he keeps on telling his grandson to be a real man, he makes kites for his little love and plays with him.
The little boy is as cute and naïve as any little boy in the world. Every time he shouts “grandpa, grandpa”, which is so sweet and makes me smile from the bottom of my heart. He is naughty, he does not like kindergarten, he loves little animals and he loves playing with his grandpa. He will never forget to tell his grandpa to take medicine on time and in the right way. I can affirm that he is a real little man now. When he is unhappy he cries, and when he is happy he jumps and laughs.
At the end of the film the grandpa dies in peace without pain and many tears. The candles are lighted and he peacefully went to the heaven. The warmth of the candles can help keep him warm and lighten the road there. The little boy with a little girl went to fly a kite in order to send the birthday card to his grandpa. His voice echoes in the kite-only sky: Grandpa, does heaven really exist? Will you go there when you die? What can I do when I miss you? Can you hear from me? Please remember to write back to me, because I am waiting here!
My dear grandpa passed away when I was 14 years old. That is about 8 years from now. I can still remember clearly what he looked like and what he always said to me. I can recall what he looked like when he was happy and sad. He loved each of his grandson and granddaughter and never criticized us. The death of my grandpa is my first lesson of forever departure within a family.
