We're told that there is one thing called British film, not occasionally. Exactly it's not fresh, but just different, I may not describe it very clearly. Just imagine this kind of thing happens in Hollywood movie, it must be caused by some dramatic accident, but in Brits, it just happens. And to that lucky man, he performed too calmly. I mean, who doesn't want this talent, stop the time, for god's sake. Except you, everything, everybody, the whole world is frozen, you can do anything you want, sounds extremely attractive, huh?
And what does this man do? He doesn't save the world, nor become super rich. He just goes through crowds, observes, feels, of course he does evil a bit, well, not a sin, I think. Staying at the frozen moment, drawing your beloved, for a man who has that talent, what a waste! But this is just the very spiritual part of British romantic. So even the change was expected, the ending was cliche, the story still impressed me.

有种东西叫英国电影，我们会时不时地听到这样的话。的确，这个电影的设定并不新颖，不过还是有很大的差异，我可能描述不清楚。想象一下好莱坞式的作品，你要获得这样那样的超能力，必定由一些充满戏剧化的故事引发，不过在英国电影里，就那么发生了。而且对于这位幸运儿来说，他表现得也太淡定了。我是说，谁不想要这样的技能啊，停止时间，真正的逆天啊。除了你，万事万物，所有的人，全世界都静止了，你可以做任何你想做的事情，听起来太爽了，对不对？
然后这位小哥做什么了？他既不去拯救世界，也没让自己成为土豪。他就穿过人群，观察，感受，当然也做了那么些小小的邪恶之事，如果算的话。停留在冻结的时间里，为自己心爱的人画一幅又一幅肖像，对于这样的技能是不是太浪费？不，我是说是不是也浪漫得不够华丽？不过这大概就是英式浪漫里很核心的部分吧。所以即便故事的转折很中庸，结局也很老套，依然能打动我。
