Edie's story is just another sad story of rich famous actress lost herself during a certain period of her career. Her case is memorable because she died of the fame at a very young age. And meanwhile the people she got involved with are masters mattered at that time.
I have to admit that the reason I want to see this film is not because that I know any of the original characters in the film but Sienna Miller. Lots of articals indicate that it is because of the movie that Sienna became well-known in this industry. After seen this movie, I have to say she is good. Her look, her performance, her talent as an actress is more than qualified. I LOVE her!!!
What I learn from the movie is that you can never trust someone that much to lose your own judgement. Money matters in many cases. There's no one you can count on but yourself. Most importantly, seize the moment, try not to make ourselves regret things that already happened as the English saying goes "Don't cry over spilled milk."
After doing some reserch of Edith Sedgwick. I was blown by her avant guard look. She's the stylist of her own. Even with the current fashion standard, her look is edgy. She reminds me of Frida Gustavson for her nose and lips. I wish I could attach a photo of hers but I don't know how to do...
