Megan No.1 is a typical pragmatic and accomplished Iron Lady who has been running a company on her own. It is indisputable that she had a crush on Don Draper who is not a bachelor. Well, another affair?
I still recall the last conversation between them. Don proposed to go away with Megan and start over like Adam and Eve when his dirty past was brought to light. “You don't want to run away with me, you just want to run away. You are a coward.” That's Megan's answer. I appreciate her assuming the inner authority of conscience and self-discipline. She's the sole women who was not captivated by Don's claptrap and said no to his Faustian Pact, which prevents her from a victim of Don's tragedy.
Megan No.2 coincides her name better, “sylphlike girl”, she's a kid in nature, an E.T. in Madison Avenue. She threw a surprising party for Don, she sang flirtatiously,while those tiresome workaholics could not take it. “Those people just hate beautiful things!” Seemingly she was lucky enough to be spoiled by her rich husband, chasing after her acting dream, in a greenhouse however. But I could say that's temporary mirage, there is no such thing as eternity, it's fantasy.And Don Draper never deserves it.
