致命女人 第一季

I recently watched <Why women kill> Season 1, one of the best US TV series I have seen this year.

I was motivated to watch it for two reasons.

Firstly, I saw a post with several photos of Alexandra Daddario-Hollywood actress, on the Weibo-Chinese Twitter-like social platform.

Her curvy body drew my attention, so I tried to look for her films and T.V. shows.

Hence, I stumbled upon this series.

Secondly, I saw a short video on Douyin, the Chinese equivalent of TikTok, introducing the top American T.V. series, including <Why Women Kill>.

This intrigued me, and that's when I decided to watch it.

The series revolves around three storylines, all occurring in the same luxury house but at different periods.

Each story has one heroine who finds out about her husband's extramarital affair, and what follows is heartbreaking - some resort to murder for revenge, some for love, and some for a mixture of both.

But the most remarkable aspect of the series was its costumes - the actresses wore colorful and exquisite dresses, which I found extremely impressive.

Besides entertaining, the series also provided valuable insight into the changing attitude towards sex in the United States - from traditional heterosexuality to open marriages and even homosexuality.

I would even go as far as to say that the director or producer could be considered a democrat in spreading American values, although I can't accept it.
