佛就在你心里！Buddha is inside you ！（1117）
见到心里的佛并非易事 It’s not so easy to meet the Buddha
每个人都有这样或那样的欲望 Every human wants thisand wants that
以及各种格言永无止境的追求 and covets what remainsout of reach
当我们得不到的时候就会生气和犯傻 When we cannot have our waywe get angry and cat doolishly
见不到心中的佛 We cannot see Buddha because we blind ourselves
通过打坐去除这些杂念 We sit and we situntil that blindfold falls away
你只有这样做，才能见到心中的佛 If you do this ,you will be ableto face the Buddha in you
如果你自杀了，那你也杀死了佛 By killing yourself ,you kill Buddha
依赖其他信仰 And depending on others
等于佛杀了佛和你自己 Denies the Buddha within you
当黎明来临，寺庙将敲响钟声 When dawn conesthe temple bell will ring (1196)
地有道 The earth way
是厚而固 soil and still
人有道 The human way
是安而宁 is calm and tranquil
天上天下 Throughout the universe
当处和谐 There is unending peace
典座是一种心无杂念的修行 Requires a single-minded puritypermitting no idle thoughts
《典座教训》 正所谓：三千诸佛，皆出在厨房中，完全是承蒙典座的大恩典。
Kitchen Master Instructions entirely to that Kitchen Master
佛门是不问你的过去的- 那为什么？
We do not question past acts – Why not ,then ?
首先你要舍弃对过去的执著
First you must abandon your attachment to the past
当你从制作中解脱出来时
When you are free of your attachments
即使你身在世俗
Though you may be in the secular world
心境也会十分清纯
You shall be pure
让我们从日常俗事中摆脱出来
Completely disengage from normal life
摒弃各种杂念
And abandon everything you had been engaged with
不思善，不思恶
Abandon thinking about right and wrong
甚至连开悟本身的想法也要舍弃
And of thinking itself , along with thoughts of enlightenment
舍弃所有的想法和念头
Abandon all intention sand thoughts
这就叫“非思量”
This is known as Without Thinking
我们坐禅的目的不是开悟
We do not sit Zazen for the purpose of enlightenment
只管打坐
Just sitting in meditation
它本身就是开悟
That itself is enlightenment
你的心魔还在吗？
Is the demon still within you ?(1661)
怀奘：大哉解脱服
Vast is the robe of liberation
无相福田衣
A formless field of benefaction
批奉如来教
I wear the Buddha’s dharma
普度诸众生
Saving all sentient beings
只管打坐，心无旁骛
Just sitting in meditation , we sit and we sit
只是坐着如何才能找到真佛呢？
How can true Buddhism be found , sitting around dong nothing ?
时赖殿下，这就像你身处大海
Lord Tokiyori , that is akin to being in the ocean
却问哪里有水？
And claiming to have no water
能看到事物的本来面目
Seeing things as they truly are
坐禅也就是看海中的水罢了
Zazen is to see the water in vast ocean
然而，我们在看清自己本性之前
And yet , until we find the innate Buddha ,
我们无法看清，水就在那里
We cannot understand there is water
就在茫茫大海之中
In the vast ocean
我不明白，道元
I don’t understand ,Dogen
开悟是什么？
What is enlightenment ?
自己的本性又是什么？
What is the innate Buddha?
清净无染，完美无限
Pure and undefiled , perfect and flawless
我们的真本性就好像这轮明月
That moon which resides in your heart is innate Buddha
月亮切不可，水也切不开
The moon cannot be wetand water cannot be torn
月亮就像本性，水是自我
The moon is innate Buddha , and water is the self
我如何消灭这些怨灵？
How can I exterminate these vengeful ghosts
你无法消灭他们
You cannot exterminate them
只能转化他们
You must convert them
转化？
Convert them?
转化就意味着接受
Conversion means acceptance
怨灵的痛苦，悲伤和仇恨
The pain,sorrow and hatehtose spirits carry
都是你内心的
Is precisely your own
痛苦，悲伤和仇恨
Pain , sorrow and hate
你必须接受他们
You must accept all that anguish
然而，您在舍弃所有私欲之后
However , until you abandon your entire self
才能接受他们
You cannot accept anguish
痛苦才会消失
Nor will the anguish fade away
当你右手掌握权力的时候
When moment you grasped powering your right hand
左手便抓住了痛苦
Your left hand grasped suffering
无论多伟大的人
No matter how brilliant
都无法通过
No one who has employed weaponsto subjugate his pelple
永远的统治他的人民
Can rule forever
如果统治者没有平和的心态
A ruler who knows no peacein his own heart
也无法维护国家的和平
Can hardly rule peacefully
恶有恶报
If you do evil you will harvest evil
善有善报
If you do good you will harvest good
无论你是高官厚禄还是家财万贯
Nether political power nor those you love nor vast fortunes
都救不了你
Will be able to save you
死亡，你只能独自面对
To death , you must go alone
唯有业随身
Is everything you did in life
寺中的僧侣
The monks in the monastery
应水乳交融
Should be as harmonious as milk and water
共同精进道业
And practice Zen single-mindedly
让每位僧人最终都成为大师
Eventually, each monk will become a head priest
佛法是永恒的伴侣
Are the eternal companionsof Buddhism
三心就是
The three minds are
喜心（快乐之心）
The jorful mind
老心（关怀之心）
The caring mind
和大心（宽宏之心）
And the universal mind
一、 少欲
First , be free from desire
二、 知足
Second ,be satisfied
三、 乐寂静
Third,be tranquil
四．勤精进
Fourth , be diligent
五．不妄念
Fifth ,remember the teachings
六、修禅定
Sixth ,meditate
七、修智慧
八、不戏论
Eighth ，avoid pointless talk
世尊的弟子
Each of Buddha’s disciples
都是遵守这八大戒方方得正果
Iearned these Eight Meansto Enlightenment
除非你奉行着八大戒
Unless you study these
即使一刻
You must not be negligence
也不可懈怠
Even for a moment
学习佛法，
To study the Buddha Way
就是了解自我
Is to study the self
了解自我
To study the self
就是为了忘却自我
Is to forget the self
忘却自我
To forget the self
就是为了证道
Is to be enlightened by everything
证道
to be enlightened by everything
就能身心脱落（解放自我）
Is to free your own
