I liked COLETTE lots. The initial bits were a little awkward, with Knightley playing 10 years younger. And the beard made her first husband look so much older than she was. I like the nods to her bisexuality, though the ending made it seems like she ended up with the trans (?) aristocrat, when in fact she married again. I find the first husband's actions quite appalling and exploitative. Though mayhaps the ending was just a bit too politically correct. Who knows. I still totally enjoyed it and was glad to learn about this author's life.
