SHALL WE DANCE，当年红透亚洲的日本电影，难得的清新又不失生活味道。被好莱坞的老帅哥GERE和辣妹JLO演绎的也还算让人满意，电影的情节就不需多讲了吧。中年男人GERE找到埋没的自我--当然，不是象高更一样逃家，用比较平和不伤害谁的方法，谈谈情，跳跳舞。

好莱坞翻拍的SHALL WE DANCE，里面用了老将Peter Gabriel的THE BOOK OF LOVE，当优雅的大提琴缓缓流动如丝绸的质感，衬着老爷爷沙哑的嗓音切入画面的时候，GERE正打开一个盒子，里面是妻子买给他的一双舞鞋，附着的卡片说：去参加她的告别晚会吧--那个她，是丈夫最初跳舞的理由。这样的女人，没有理由不去珍惜。

于是，就是那个许多女人为之心动的情节。妻子加班的夜间商店，一身礼服老而英俊的GERE从电梯上缓缓上升，手中的红玫瑰和脸上的微笑，是一个中年女人最期望的礼物。他走过来，牵起她的手，说；WILL YOU DANCE WITH ME？妻子惊喜中有些惶恐“BUT I DON‘TKNOW HOW TO”“DARLING YOU’VE DANCED WITH ME FOR 19 YEARS……”然后他以一个优雅的姿势拥抱她，而她已经沉醉。
