我最最喜欢的一句话:Design was one of the more intriguing by-products of the Industrial Revolution, along with consumerism, capitalism, global warming and two-and-a-half centuries of social upheaval(社会剧变).
我受到的启发:实际上,“设计师”这个职业本身,就是工业化、消费主义、资本主义的副产品。更不要说某个品牌的设计师或者某个设计师了。
“18世纪的企业家,就是设计的教父。”如果真要说设计师有什么初心的话,最大化产入和最少的产出 make more for less 才是。这不就是符合资本主义核心价值的东西吗。
设计是为资本主义服务的。它永远不会是一个纯粹的行为,因为它永远和如何被购买、如何被出售、如何被使用、甚至是如何循环利用被回收有关。
